KÜF's latest project is all about football. Seeing as the Turkish National football team could not qualify into the World Cup, KÜF has decided to take their frustration out on the 'NO ENTRY' signs of Kavaklidere. 'It's the football' utilizes the same visual vocabulary as that of the Turkish National team's jerseys. KÜF selected 11 'NO ENTRY' signs that create a 4-4-2 formation; the chosen numbers and their placement are in direct accordance with the starting line-up of the Bosnia-Turkey game, which took place on the 9th of September, 2009. This particular game is of special significance to KÜF (and the majority of the Turkish population), since its outcome has reduced Turkey's appearance in the World Cup to a miracle.
